Well, I’m still sleepy, but I guess it’s a little better now that I’m not on my couch 🙂 It’s always so tempting to take a day off after a trip, which makes it really hard for me to get up and get ready for work.
I love having 3 day weekends, but I hate when I get there on Tuesdays and have all those emails waiting for me. Monday’s are actually my busiest day at work, so today has gone by pretty fast already.
I had my green monster as a mid morning snack – this was a good one!
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 banana
- 1/2 cup pineapple
- 2-3 cups kale
I feel so great after drinking these things! I don’t know what it is about them – if you have not tried a green smoothie yet, what are you waiting for?
Lunch was easy to prep last night, thank goodness.
I made a refried bean wrap on a Flat Out and brought some broccoli and a sliced orange.
Yes, that is a stained gladware container.
Don’t judge – you know you have them, too 🙂
My butt is so sore from spinning! Is that normal after the first class? It’s sore from where I was sitting on the bike seat. I guess I need to wear my padded bike shorts next time!

The smoothie looks good!
CONGRATULATIONS TO DEAR SARAH!!!
That smoothie is the prettiest color. I think tonight, I am going to do spinach, banana and milk instead of adding berries.
Oh my, that bean wrap literally just made me drool! 🙂
I definitely have me a stained Gladware container!
Congrats to Sarah and thanks for the link love, m’dear!!
Congratulations to Sarah! And oh wow that green monster is awesome color! And definitely I love the eats. The wrap is scrumptious!
That wrap looks really good. Reminded me that I need to try to find some good whole wheat tortilla/flatbread – or make my own! 🙂
Ok, thank you for helping me feel better about my stained containers. Damn you, curry and tomato sauces!
I know, Hallie! It’s always those chilis and tomato sauces 🙂
Hi FoodsThatFit! Thanks for the note 🙂 We had a pretty dreary, rainy day here, too. That dinner was a good thing to have!
Hi Sara! Thanks for the spinning info – I’m looking forward to more classes!
Great blog! The wrap looks so good.
I taught spinning for years, and I promise that after about 3 classes your butt will get used to the seat 🙂 But yes, the pain is normal your first few times!! Have fun!!
I had my first spin class 10 days ago and my “lady bits” were rubbed raw! Next time, bicycle shorts for sure!!
